Featuring: Karla Gordon Trevino
weeping
may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning
Psalm
30:5
I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee
Hebrews 13:4
Dedicated to: Karla and Karen, as they continue to walk day by day, trusting in the promises of the Lord.
About the song: Weve sung this hopeful song for years, and the message still holds true for us today. It doesnt matter what difficulties fill our lives. Knowing that God is with us makes it possible to live confidently.
A Godly young mother in our church often asked us to sing this song. It was Tinas favorite choir song. She succumbed to cancer at the young age of 31, leaving four small children. Through her difficulties, she never swayed from her faith. There were times when she wondered if she could make it, but she knew that the Lord would always be there with her. We miss you Tina!
Looking back on the troubles in our life, we have hope, because, even though the outcome were desiring may not be in the ultimate plan of God, we know that Hell never leave us. His ways are always the best.
Verse
1
Is there any way I can make it
Seems Ive got so far to go
Though it may not be easy I have this assurance
That You promised always to see me through
Verse
2
Every day a new beginning
Something never dealt with before
And here I am in the midst of a storm
And I cry Lord I just want to cry
Then I fall Lord right back in Your loving arms
Chorus
Looking back every time
Seeing each mountain I have climbed
Knowing it was really You
Who carried me right on through
Some tears and some pain
But Im going on just the same
God You promised to be with me
Through the storm and through the rain
God You are my everything
