"A friend loveth at all times…" Proverbs 17:17
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

Dedicated to: The Brott Family and the rest of our friends in Nebraska, with a special dedication to the amazing musicians who "jammed" with us that night: Nathan Dormer, Nathan Froese, Jack Tanner, Andy Van Engen and Andrew Wasmundt.

About the song: It was a hot summer night in the tabernacle of a Nebraska campground surrounded by cornfields as far as the eye could see, that the sisters and some amazing musicians made a rough recording of a fresh new version of this old hymn. That recording insured that we didn't forget what we'd liked so well, and, now, a couple of years later, here it is!

Love Lifted Me Song Clip

I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore
Very deeply stained within sinking to rise no more
But the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry
From the waters lifted me
Now safe am I

Love lifted me love lifted me
When nothing else could help love lifted me
Love lifted me love lifted me
When nothing else could help
Love lifted me

All my heart to Him I give ever to Him I'll cling
In His blessed presence live ever His praises sing
Love so mighty and so true merits my soul's best songs
Faithful loving service too to Him belongs

Love lifted me

When nothing else could help, Love lifted me!
